Epoxy Flooring
The difference between an epoxy floor that lasts a decade and one that peels in a year is prep. We don't skip it. Mechanical grinding, proper primer, and a quality topcoat — every time.

Scope of Work
Epoxy flooring in Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston requires accounting for Texas heat, humidity, and the moisture vapor transmission common in slab-on-grade construction. We address those conditions in prep — not after the floor fails.
System Options
Clean, uniform finish in any color. Ideal for garages and utility spaces where function and cleanability are the priority.
Broadcast vinyl flakes over the base coat for texture, visual depth, and natural slip resistance. The most popular choice for residential garages.
Pigmented metallic powder creates a high-gloss, three-dimensional effect. Suited for showrooms, home gyms, and spaces where appearance matters.
UV-stable, fast-curing topcoat that resists yellowing, hot tire pickup, and chemical staining. Applied over any base system for maximum durability.

The Process
Every step matters. The floor's lifespan is determined in the first two steps — inspection and prep. We don't rush either.
We assess the concrete condition — moisture levels, existing coatings, cracks, and surface profile. The inspection determines which prep method and coating system are appropriate.
Diamond grinding or shot blasting opens the concrete pores and removes contaminants. This is the step most DIY and low-cost installs skip — it's also why those floors peel.
Cracks and spalls are filled and feathered. A penetrating primer is applied to promote adhesion and block moisture vapor transmission.
Base coat, broadcast (if applicable), and topcoat are applied in sequence with proper cure time between layers. No rushing the process.
We walk the finished floor with you before we consider the job done. Edges, transitions, and surface uniformity are all checked.
Common Questions
A standard two-car garage takes 1–2 days for prep and coating. Full cure to foot traffic is typically 24 hours; vehicle traffic requires 72 hours. We give you a realistic timeline based on the specific system and conditions.
Peeling is almost always a prep failure. If the concrete isn't properly profiled — opened up so the epoxy can bond — the coating sits on top of the surface instead of bonding to it. We use mechanical prep (grinding) on every job, not acid etching.
Sometimes, but it depends on what's there and how well it's adhered. We assess the existing surface before recommending a path. In most cases, removing the old coating and starting fresh produces a better long-term result.
A smooth topcoat can be slippery when wet. We recommend an anti-slip aggregate additive for garage floors and any area that sees water. The flake broadcast system also adds natural texture that improves traction.
