The Process

Simple from
start to finish.

We've designed the process to be clear, low-friction, and predictable. Because uncertainty is what makes home projects stressful — not the work itself.

From This 2 That

Proactive Communication

You know what's happening before you have to ask.

No Hidden Costs

Scope changes are discussed and approved before they affect your invoice.

We Show Up

On the date we committed to, every day until the job is done.

01

Request an Estimate

5 minutes

Submit your project details through our online estimate form. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish, upload a few photos of the space, and give us your timeline. We review every submission before the first conversation so we show up prepared.

  • Describe the project in plain terms — no technical specs required
  • Upload photos of the space (the more context, the better)
  • Share your preferred timeline and any hard constraints
  • We review scope before reaching out

No obligation. No spam. Just a direct response from our team.

02

Review & Quote

1–3 business days

We'll reach out to schedule a walkthrough — in person for local projects, or via video for remote scoping. We ask the right questions, clarify scope, and then deliver a clear written quote. No vague estimates, no hidden line items.

  • On-site or video walkthrough to assess scope accurately
  • We ask about priorities, constraints, and finish preferences
  • Written quote with line-item breakdown delivered within 1–3 days
  • Quote includes timeline, payment structure, and scope boundaries

We don't quote jobs we can't execute well. If scope isn't a fit, we'll tell you.

03

Schedule & Confirm

Same day

Once you approve the quote, we sign a simple project agreement, collect the initial deposit, and lock in your start date. Your spot on the schedule is secured — no ambiguity about when work begins.

  • Review and sign the project agreement
  • Initial deposit collected to secure your start date
  • Start date confirmed in writing
  • Pre-work checklist sent so you know how to prepare

We don't overbook. When we commit to a start date, we hold it.

04

Work in Progress

Project duration

We show up when we say we will, keep the job site clean, and communicate proactively — not reactively. You'll know what's happening, when it's happening, and if anything changes. No chasing us down for updates.

  • Crew arrives on schedule, every day
  • Job site kept clean throughout — not just at the end
  • Regular progress updates via your client portal
  • Any scope changes discussed and approved before proceeding

Surprises happen in construction. How we handle them is what sets us apart.

05

Final Walkthrough & Close

1–2 hours

Before we consider the job done, we walk the completed work with you. Every item on the punch list is addressed. Final payment is collected only after you're satisfied with the result.

  • Structured walkthrough of all completed work
  • Punch list items addressed before final payment
  • Final invoice and payment processed
  • Warranty information and care instructions provided

We don't disappear after the last day of work. We stand behind what we build.

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does the estimate process take?

We respond to estimate requests within 1 business day. After the walkthrough, you'll have a written quote within 1–3 business days depending on project complexity.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not necessarily. Many clients provide access and check in via their client portal for updates. We'll discuss access logistics during the scheduling step.

What if scope changes mid-project?

It happens. We'll identify the change, explain the impact on timeline and cost, and get your written approval before proceeding. No surprises on the final invoice.

What's included in the warranty?

All workmanship is warranted for 1 year from project completion. Material warranties vary by manufacturer and will be documented in your project agreement.

Do you handle permits?

Yes, for projects that require permits. We'll identify permit requirements during scoping and coordinate the process. Permit fees are included in the quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept ACH bank transfer, credit card, and check. Payment structure (deposit, progress, final) is outlined in the project agreement.
